Community table

The community table is the least formal thing Post 198 does. Coffee goes on at midmorning, the Legionnaires bring a dish, and the door stays open. People who would never attend a business meeting will sit down for this — Cape May Ch, NJ.

It is also how the post hears what the town needs next. A conversation over a plate becomes next month’s project. The minutes, if anyone writes them, are short.
