American Legion Post 115 Bemtpm City Richland, the American Legion Post 115 — Benton City, WA. The post dates to 1967, when veterans home from the Second World War and Korea wanted a room of their own and a way to keep serving after the uniform came off.
People point to the post for the Memorial Day observance and for the quieter help that never makes a program — Benton City. The Legionnaires would rather be useful than famous, which is why the hall still smells like coffee on meeting night.

What the notebook says so far

The honor detail had been out more than once, the community table had fed a crowded room, and the officers reminded everyone that the next business meeting is the second Tuesday at 7:00 PM. This note is a sample of how the post might tell that year — Benton City, WA.
