American Legion Post 206 Highland Park. Its post has met since 1929 — Los Angeles, CA. The charter came in the years after the World Wars, and the Legionnaires who stayed treated the monthly meeting as a standing promise: show up, look after one another, and leave the town a little better.

Notes from the first meeting
