- Legion Post #206
- Chesapeak Bch, MD
In 1965 a handful of veterans chartered Post 206 — Chesapeak Bch, MD. From that first meeting the post grew into a hall that still marks the year with a memorial service, a community project, and a table full of people who know one another’s stories.
People point to the post for the Memorial Day observance and for the quieter help that never makes a program — Chesapeak Bch. The Legionnaires would rather be useful than famous, which is why the hall still smells like coffee on meeting night.
The regular meeting is the first Thursday at 7:00 PM. Anyone planning to visit should confirm the night before they come, because a funeral detail or a weather delay can move it. Between meetings the Legionnaires stay in touch the old way: at the hall, and through the officers listed on this sample site — Chesapeak Bch, MD.

What the notebook says so far

This note is a sample of how the post might tell that year — Chesapeak Bch, MD.
