A few of the things the post keeps on the calendar — Regent, ND. These write-ups are sample stories, in the voice the post might use.
| Community table | Community | Once a month the post sets a long table and feeds whoever comes, veterans first and neighbors welcome — Regent, ND. |
| Veteran support | Veterans | American Legion Post 273 Ulmer-Zich. Each year the post sets aside time for local veterans: a ride, a meal, or a quiet check-in after a hard week — Regent, ND. |
| Scholarship evening | Community | Each spring the post awards a small scholarship and invites the family to the hall — Regent, ND. |
