- Flowery Br, GA
American Legion Post 328 L C Pace-Eugene Brown. Its post has met since 1951 — Flowery Br, GA. The charter came in the years after the Second World War and Korea, and the Legionnaires who stayed treated the monthly meeting as a standing promise: show up, look after one another, and leave the town a little better.
The work is ordinary and steady. A flag detail at a funeral. A winter drive that fills a corner of the hall with gifts. A scholarship evening where the Legionnaires hand an envelope to a student and then go back to the coffee. None of it is loud. All of it is the point of the charter.
The meeting line says the second Tuesday at 7:00 PM, which is the rhythm the directory lists. Come for the business, stay for the people. The portraits and the posts here are sample material, standing in until the post writes its own — Flowery Br, GA.

Showing up for the spring scholarship — Flowery Br
By spring the hall had the spring scholarship underway. Nothing about it was complicated. The Post 328 set a date, split the jobs, and showed up. A few neighbors who are not members came for the afternoon and stayed to ask about the next meeting — Flowery Br.

What the notebook says so far
Late summer the post looked back at the notebook. The honor detail had been out more than once, the community table had fed a crowded room, and the officers reminded everyone that the next business meeting is the second Tuesday at 7:00 PM. This note is a sample of how the post might tell that year — Flowery Br, GA.
