- Cpe Canaveral, FL
American Legion Post 348 Challenger 7, the American Legion Post 348 — Cpe Canaveral, FL. The post dates to 1949, when veterans home from the Second World War and Korea wanted a room of their own and a way to keep serving after the uniform came off.
People point to the post for the Memorial Day observance and for the quieter help that never makes a program — Cpe Canaveral. The Legionnaires would rather be useful than famous, which is why the hall still smells like coffee on meeting night.
The meeting line says the second Tuesday at 7:00 PM, which is the rhythm the directory lists. Come for the business, stay for the people. The portraits and the posts here are sample material, standing in until the post writes its own — Cpe Canaveral, FL.
