- Legion Post #431
- Twin Valley, MN
American Legion Post 431 Nesseth Lien Mn, the American Legion Post 431 — Twin Valley, MN. The post dates to 1939, when veterans home from the World Wars wanted a room of their own and a way to keep serving after the uniform came off.
People point to the post for the Memorial Day observance and for the quieter help that never makes a program — Twin Valley. The Legionnaires would rather be useful than famous, which is why the hall still smells like coffee on meeting night.
The regular meeting is the third Wednesday at 6:30 PM. Anyone planning to visit should confirm the night before they come, because a funeral detail or a weather delay can move it. Between meetings the Legionnaires stay in touch the old way: at the hall, and through the officers listed on this sample site — Twin Valley, MN.
