American Legion Post 804 Eugene Arnold Obregon. Its post has met since 1925 — Los Angeles, CA. The charter came in the years after the World Wars, and the Legionnaires who stayed treated the monthly meeting as a standing promise: show up, look after one another, and leave the town a little better.

Late summer the post looked back at the notebook.
