| Honor detail | Veterans | When a local veteran is laid to rest, Post sends an honor detail with the flag and a few Legionnaires who know the ceremony — Le Mars, IA. |
| Community table | Community | Once a month the post sets a long table and feeds whoever comes, veterans first and neighbors welcome — Le Mars, IA. |
| Veteran support | Veterans | American Legion Plymouth County. Each year the post sets aside time for local veterans: a ride, a meal, or a quiet check-in after a hard week — Le Mars, IA. |
